Material nonlinear solution of beam structures
Kabeláč, Jaromír ; Krejsa,, Martin (referee) ; Návrat,, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Ivan (advisor)
The dissertation deals with solution of beam and frame structure considering material nonlinearity. The finite elements method (FEM) was used as calculation method. The objective of the dissertation was to develop and test finite beam element considering material nonlinearity. A detailed analysis of the problem provided a group of formulations of beam element. Part of the dissertation´s results has been, in several forms, implemented in commercial software. Beam element focused on solution of stress over solid cross sections is introduced in the theoretical part. In terms of topology it is a classical prismatic beam element with two nodes. Six degrees of freedom for translations and rotations are defined in each node plus 7-th degree of freedom for warping function from torsion. Load form axial force, bending moments, primary torsion, shear forces and eventually bimoment for secondary torsion were considered in cross section. Several variants of formulations were created according to inclusion of loading components into material nonlinearity and according to numeric integration method. Inclusion of geometric nonlinearity and fire resistance calculation are discussed in the dissertation. The above mentioned formulations were tested on prototypes as described in the application part which also provides information on the general procedure, architecture and technologies used for implementation of knowledge from the theoretical part into commercial FEM software. The dissertation shows implementation of plasticity for shell, solutions of cross section characteristics and stress on cross section, implementation of beam element with material nonlinearity and module for fire resistance of column. The above mentioned implementations of theoretical conclusions are the main outputs of the dissertation. These implementations are available in thousands of installations throughout Europe where being used at projection of significant constructions.

Preparation of sample cross-sections and analysis by SIMS
Karlovský, Juraj ; Pechal, Radim (referee) ; Bábor, Petr (advisor)
This thesis studies possible methods of semiconductor sample measurement by SIMS, with emphasis on testing different measurement parameters and sample preparation. Part of this master thesis deals with the design of a modified sample holder compatible with the used ToF-SIMS$^{5}$ instrument, IONTOF company, which is capable of tilting the sample by defined angle. This holder enables sample preparation in the main chamber of the instrument without the need of transferring the sample between instruments, which limits the probability of sample contamination. This sample holder was tested by ion machining of TIGBT sample edge and by imaging of a crater edge, created in previous measurement. Edge termination structures prepared by different techniques were measured on the TIGBT samples. Further measurements with the goal of optimizing the depth resolution for thin layers were done on Molybdenum-Silicon-multilayer X-Ray Mirror. Part of the measurements was focused on comparing depth profiles measured at low temperatures. For these measurements the samples with Indium multilayers in GaN substrate were used.

Belda, Miroslav ; Jíra, Daniel (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
Master's thesis will deal with the second phase of shifting I/9 Dubice - Dolni Libchava passing west of the Ceska Lipa with an approximate length of 3 km stretch. Estimated start-up of this section is in 2014. This project should build on in the future by-pass Ceska Lipa and Novy Bor, which is currently without funds for implementation by 2025. Traffic load after completion of the by-pass should be approximately 16500 vehicles / 24 hours in 2030. The section is designed in the category S 9.5 with optional solving two major intersections. This thesis will focus on reducing the cost of construction of the section.
Study of organosilicone fragmentation in plasma
Sahánková, Hana ; Studýnka, Jan (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis deals on the study of organosilicone monomers in plasma. The dimethylphenylsilane (DMPS) was chosen as the organosilicone example. The theoretical part gives basic overview of plasmachemical processes and technologies used in present world. Some part is reserved for the description of plasma diagnostic basic methods as optical emission spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy. The experimental part is constituted from two different experiments. The first one was done as model experiment of DMPS fragmentation by electron beam of exact energy and it was completed at Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics in Bratislava. Results of these experiments brought a set of electron energies needed for the creation of various ionic fragments from the original molecule as well as the cross sections for their creation. The second part of the experiments was carried out under the inductively coupled RF low pressure plasma conditions during the deposition of DMPS based thin films. The plasma was monitored by optical emission spectroscopy at different discharge power. Various species were identified in the spectra. The calculation of plasma parameters and their comparision with the model experiment data will be subjects of the further work.
Optimization of large technology compound design
Krňávek, Ondřej ; Kršík, Jakub (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the optimization of the structural design of large technology compounds. The main emphasis is placed on the participation of available optimization instruments in the design of supporting structures of these constructions. The introductory part is primarily focused on the optimization itself. In this part are further specified also used optimization methods, computational finite element method, implemented code checks and calculation of cost of construction. The main part is dedicated to application of optimization procedure for the design of steel supporting structure of the auxiliary technological object of thermal power plant. The objective criterium shall then constitute the total cost of construction works along with operating costs. For the solution is used Scia Engineer software together with optimization module Scia Engineer Optimization Toolbox. The whole analysis is presented comprehensively from the description of computational model to results evaluation. The attention is paid to the optimization task settings, technical solution of optimization, optimization methods deployment and during the calculation process (especially to the development of objective function values and desing constraints during the optimization solution).
